The Plymouth Career Center is part of the Massachusetts One-Stop Career Center system, providing employers and workers access to all of the programs and benefits of the workforce development system in one location.  

The One –Stop Career Centers are part of America’s Workforce Network, the Federally-sponsored nationwide employment and training system.  The expansion of the One-Stop Centers was authorized in a law called the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA), which replaced the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA).  The new law has several main principles that influence services, i.e.:
