Membership Information: All Services are provided free of charge to both Job Seekers and Employers To become a member  visit the Career Center or complete the online form. A Counselor will then contact you to set up an appointment for an employment needs assessment. You will attend an informational session called a Career Center Seminar (CCS) which provides a comprehensive overview of our services.

Use Massachusetts JobQuest to conduct your job search. Receive updates of daily job listings that match your qualifications. Check out training opportunities. Learn about events at the One-Stop Career Centers, and much more.
 
Use WebCert to sign online for your unemployment insurance benefits. Get an update on your unemployment insurance claim. Print out a copy of your 1099G tax form. Look for more services in the future.

At the heart of The Career Center is our extensive, multimedia library. In the library, you can conduct independent career and job related research, consult with a knowledgeable staff person, use our computer workstations to access the Internet, design resumes and cover letters, access career assessment software to identify career interests and strengths, and conduct labor market and company research.

2 practice computers with two tutorials installed:
  • Typing Tutorial (Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing)

Our extensive periodical and reference holdings in print and audio/visual formats will assist you in conducting job or career search, career management, and company or labor market research

Access print material on education and training programs in the Greater Boston area

Adaptive Equipment and Resources for Individuals with Disabilities

Printing of up to 100 pages per visit
Use of fax and photocopy machine for a fee
  • Access to Occupational and Skills Training  The Career Center assists eligible individuals to access occupational and skills training courses which are paid for by the Commonwealth)

  • Veteran’s Services (our Veterans Specialistl helps to organize your job search, assists in designing your Personal Employment Plan, develops job leads and makes appropriate referrals)
     

  • Career Services (Career Services team assists individuals to develop their careers and make informed career choices)
